As you step inside the Log restaurant, you’re greeted by handcrafted and custom made furnishing and décor of Arctic design. The interior is adorned with wooden structures, creating an experience on it´s own. Log is located in the main building of the hotel area and it houses also the hotel reception. The reception area also has a unique bar and lounge area plus a small gift shop. The building made from massive logs is a magnificent sight in itself.
Dining inside the Log restaurant provides a unique experience, combining the rustic charm of a log cabin with the modern and Arctic design, and of course enjoying a delicious meal.
Buffet breakfast
Hotel guests enjoy breakfast at Log restaurant. The hearty buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of flavours and different breakfast options. Breakfast is always included in the accommodation rate whether you are staying in SnowHotel or the glass igloos. Buffet breakfast is served at 7:30-10:00 (autumn 8:00-10:00).
If you are leaving our hotel before the breakfast starts, you can request your breakfast package free of charge, which you can pick up from the reception on the previous night (please order from the reception by 8 p.m.) or early in the morning before you leave.
Dinner at Log
Log buffet dinner is available every evening from November 6th to 31st of March, from 17:00 to 20:00. The buffet offers delicious bread with various spreads and a variety of cold appetizers and salads. As main course we always offer Finnish meat, fish, and a vegetarian option, along with tasty sauces and side dishes to complement the meal. The dinner culminates in sweet, mouthwatering desserts served with coffee.

We strive to incorporate food produced by local small-scale producers into our menu, as well as various seasonal wild ingredients gathered by our staff from the nearby nature. Traditional cooking methods such as fermentation, salting, and pickling contribute to our culinary traditions.

Log Restaurant Lumikartano has floor space in excess of 500 m² with its charter restaurant taking up to 150 guests and therefore ideal to serve lunches and dinners for big groups. Being rich in atmosphere, the restaurant space is an ideal venue for different events. Log Restaurant Lumikartano is the main building of the hotel area and it houses the hotel reception and restaurant intended for hotel guests.
