The Snow Sauna will not leave you cold
Even the most enthusiastic sauna bathers are deeply impressed by the Snow Sauna! The sauna bathing experience is an astonishing combination of thick steam with intimate snow walls. The hotel grounds also have a more traditional log-built sauna buildings with lovely Jacuzzis. Bathing combined with a suitable beverage and the northern lights will keep you warm!
Finnish sauna
Finnish sauna building “Snowflake” is found on the hotel area and has several smaller saunas inside which cater individual customers staying in the hotel or igloos as well as visitors.
Bigger sauna “Snowfall” caters for groups and common sauna for overnight guests. The common sauna shifts for men and women are every evening and included in the accommodation price. There are separate showers and dressing rooms for men and women. The hotel reserves the right to change the time for the public sauna shift if conditions require such.
For an additional fee you can reserve sauna bathing experience for your family for private use daily 10:00-00:00. Our guide is always available to help you to show you the way and makes sure that everything goes correctly. During the winter months, combining the Finnish sauna with the snow sauna will make your experience much more varied and extremely refreshing as well as outdoor Jacuzzi with massaging jets is an experience beyond compare – we highly recommend this combination for all the guests. The changing rooms and showers are located in Finnish sauna so if you wish to try snow sauna and/or outdoor jacuzzi, Finnish sauna is always booked for you as well.
Snow Sauna
The Snow Sauna is made from snow and ice. Only the sauna benches are made from wood. The thick steam of the stove keeps the temperature high, even though the snowy walls radiate cold. You start your sauna experience by having shower and warming up in Finnish sauna for awhile after which our guide will show you how snow sauna works and gives instructions for it. After that you can go to either outdoor jacuzzi or back to Finnish sauna. Snow Sauna is available from Dec 15th until 31st March.
Outdoor Jacuzzi
Enjoy the cool fresh air while relaxing in the Jacuzzi! In the outdoor Jacuzzi you can admire the Northern Lights or the spectacular starry night skies of Lapland, not to mention experiencing the jacuzzi surrounded by bright snow. the Warm water and cool air is a magical combination!
Spa package
We recommend booking your private sauna experience with a Tundra Natural indulgence package, including locally produced sauna scent, foot bath as well as soap- and shampoo bars, acquainting you with Arctic herbs from Finland. Create a calming spa moment, close your eyes and allow your body and mind to relax.
By selecting the Finnish luxury from nature package, your sauna experience will be 2 hours, to have enough time to enjoy the additional indulgence of natural herbs and feel of Arctic forest

We recommend adding sparkling wine to your experience, for bathing under the northern sky. Sparkling wine will be served to you in your jacuzzi (price €39/bottle, non-alcoholic sparkling wine €29/bottle).
