Arctic SnowHotel is one of the largest snow and ice hotels in the world and a popular day trip destination in Rovaniemi. Inside the hotel, the temperature is always between 0°C and -5°C, so it is comfortable to visit even if it is very cold outside. During the introduction, you will hear the story of Arctic SnowHotel, learn about snow construction and snow and ice art, and see how the world’s only snow saunas work. You will have free time to explore the snow hotel at your own pace, visit the rooms, and admire dozens of snow and ice sculptures. We recommend popping in the Ice bar to have a drink served in ice glass.
When it is time for lunch, you will be seated in the Ice Restaurant on a bench made of ice, by an icy table, surrounded by snow and ice sculptures. On the menu, there are three tasty soup options and a delicious dessert – with Arctic flavours, of course.
