Arctic SnowHotel is an intriguing destination and landmark with plenty to see. Explore the snow-made hotel built unique each year, the Ice Restaurant, the Ice Bar, and the world’s reportedly only Snow Sauna.
A visiting package is an easy way to experience Arctic SnowHotel. The package includes a guided tour and round-trip transportation from Santa Claus Village or the center of Rovaniemi. Additionally, you can choose a package with meals or a snow sauna experience.
- The autumn and early winter visits are available from 1st September – 14th December.
- Winter visits are available from 15th December to 31st March.
Sauna, jacuzzi and dinner at Kota Restaurant (autumn)
This visiting package allows you to enjoy the most Finnish thing to do -a traditional Finnish sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi, booked for you privately!

Ice sculpting and dinner at Kota Restaurant (autumn)
This is the ultimate Lapland activity! Ice sculpting is an artform and every year, dozens of snow and ice sculptors create amazing art at the Arctic SnowHotel. This is your exclusive opportunity to try ice sculpting – as the only place in Rovaniemi!
- Available daily between 1st of Sep – 14th Dec. This visit includes also transfers.
Includes a guided tour of the ice storage facilities, where the temperature is always below 0°. In the facilities cooled by solar energy, the artists work on their sculptures, and the huge ice cubes lifted from the lake the previous winter are stored.
Try your own skills in the ice sculpting workshop led by our expert guide. The unique works sculpted by the guests will be displayed in Arctic SnowHotel for the following season !

The sauna experience is a must when in Finland – imagine the fresh air, bathing in warm water! The sauna is booked in private use for you.
This visiting experience includes the season’s coolest experience ice sculpting! The experience starts with a guided tour of our ice storage facilities, where the huge ice cubes lifted from the lake the previous winter are stored. On the tour, you learn interesting facts about ice and snow sculpting as work and as a form of art.
In the workshop, everyone gets their own ice cube and learns to use ice carving tools. Those who participate in the workshop are also involved in building a new snow hotel: for the art will be displayed in Arctic SnowHotel for the following season!

Guided tour at Arctic SnowHotel
After taking a 30-minute transfer, you arrive to Arctic SnowHotel. A must visit when in Lapland Finland, that offers once-in-a-lifetime experience and the opportunity to explore snow and ice structures, spectacular ice sculptures, beautiful rooms of the snow hotel and Arctic specialities, such as the snow sauna.
- Available daily as a morning or as an afternoon program between 15th Dec – 31st Mar. This visit includes also transfers.
During your memorable visit, the guide will tell you about the construction, operation and special features of the Arctic SnowHotel. The visit includes a guided tour of snow hotel, hot berry juice and biscuits. At the end of the tour, there is a possibility to order a shot from the Ice Bar for an additional fee, served in a glass made from ice.
Chill and dine at Ice Restaurant
Combine the perfect Arctic experiences dining in an Ice restaurant and touring one of the biggest snow hotels in the world. Before a 3-corse dinner, the guide will tell you about the construction, operation and special features of the snow hotel. Enjoy a memorable guided tour through beautiful snow and ice rooms of the hotel and get familiar with Arctic specialities, such as the Snow Sauna. At the end of the tour, there is a possibility to order a shot from the Ice Bar for an additional fee, served in a glass made from ice.

The Ice Restaurant is built of snow and ice and provides a unique setting for an unforgettable dinner; serving up hot Lappish delicacies savoured around ice tables. Culinary enjoyment commences with a classic turnip-vichyssoise soup and is finished off with the SnowHotel´s delicious soft chocolate delight. Food by the fire at Kota Restaurant
See the Arctic SnowHotel at Lehtojärvi, where the venue offers an excellent opportunity to view spectacular Northern Lights. This winter wonderland, features stunning snow and ice structures, spectacular ice sculptures, unique snow hotel rooms, set in the heart of the beautiful and tranquil Lappish nature.

Head for the second floor that features a glass roof, providing a chance to catch a glimpse and admire the Northern Lights from the cozy interior.
