Introduction to Arctic SnowHotel and Ice Sculpting

This package includes entrance ticket and introduction to Arctic SnowHotel and ice sculpting workshop. Each year, a group of artists is assigned to create dozens of ice sculptures for the snow hotel, and our guests also have the chance to try their hand at ice sculpting. This activity is perfect for couples and groups of friends looking for fun things to do, culture lovers and art enthusiasts, and anyone seeking unique Arctic experiences.

The workshop begins with a visit to one of the biggest freezers you will ever see. Our ice storages are cooled with solar energy and hold the enormous blocks of ice used as building materials for the snow hotel and as raw material for our artists’ unique creations. During the visit, you’ll hear fascinating facts about how the hotel is built, and perhaps even find inspiration for your own icy masterpiece.

Then it’s time to get down to icy business! Each participant receives their own block of ice, and our guide will introduce you to the secrets of ice sculpting and the tools of trade. Unleash your creativity and let your imagination flow. Some of the most successful sculptures will be displayed in the snow hotel.
