Step into the world of Lapland’s most iconic animal – the reindeer. Our guided visit to a traditional reindeer farm allows you to meet and feed these gentle animals while learning about the ancient art of reindeer herding. This trip is perfect for animal lovers and anyone interested in the local way of life and its traditional livelihood.

The guide will take you on a tour of the farmyard and its historic buildings, sharing stories of how people have survived the harsh northern elements for centuries. At the reindeer enclosure, you’ll meet the legend of Lapland face to face – the best way to approach is by offering a bit of food. The tour ends in the old log house, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and local baked goods while hearing more stories of the Lappish way of life then and now.

If there is enough snow, you may choose to add a reindeer sleigh ride to your visit on site for an additional fee.
