Nature walk and fireside break

Price: Adults 79 € (13 years and above), children 39 € (2–12 years), infants 0 € (0–1 years).

It is no wonder that forests feel like a second home to Finns – after all, up to 75 percent of Finland’s land area is covered with trees. The local way to spend free time is to head into the woods, especially in autumn, when the air is cool and crisp and berries and mushrooms are ready to pick. This activity is perfect for nature lovers, families, and anyone who enjoys calm, immersive experiences and is interested in local culture and the Finnish way of life.

After a short ride, it’s time to head into the woods with our guide. The hike proceeds at a steady pace while taking in the colours and scents of the forest. After all, studies show that even a short time spent in the forest can lower blood pressure and improve mood. In autumn, the woods treat hikers to lingonberries and bilberries that can be eaten straight from the bush. We’ll take a break at a hut, where we’ll light a campfire and make coffee and sweet buns on a stick over the open fire. After savouring the snacks and relaxing for a bit, it’s time to head back to the hotel.
